the setting is placed in the Mojave desert in California,where ben and madec are hunting big horn. And madec has suposedly shoot and killed a civilian on accident as madec wants to wants to keep it a secret ben wants to tell the authorities about the killing.

Characters:
Ben- has taken a job as a spoter for big horn. Only for the money he needs to gain for his college career after the killing of the old man ben is determined to tell the authorities about it.
Madec- Is a rich lawyer from the city that won in a lottery that allowed him to hunt for big horn for a week. He accidently kills an old man and doesn't want Ben to report it to the authorities. He leaves Ben in the desert, to survive on his own.

I think that this puote is good becase it shows the true emotions of ben and the way he feels about madec. And also gives you that hunter spirt and kill or be killed feeling.

I finishd death watch a week ago, and man what a story. The ending is the best when ben is talking to the doctor after Ben was assalted by Madec with a slingshot to kill him with silence and not atract atension from the authorities. after the doctor stated that Madec did atempt in merder, the doctor asked ben if he would want to preas charges on Madec. and ben replys that all he wanys to do is report the merder.
Then the doctor sees Madec throw away his rifl and sling shot in the dumpster. Madecs lawyer then trys to convince the juge that Ben was the one that tried to kill Madec. But all the evedance pointed at Madec for the the etept of murder only becaus the doctor saw Madec throw away the gun and the bukshot in Bens wrist matchted the gun that madec had in his psasion.
I have to say that Ive read better books in my life but it was a great story and a cool survival book. But i think it would make a great moive, one thing I liked was the vary discriptive sithawaysions Ben was in. You could really get into the book there where a few parts where it was hard to put the book down and take a break. It was funny because a few times I even felt like I was in the deseart naked haha. So I personoly would say that its a 3 out of 5 but like I said i think it would be a good moive.
